Indigenous Learning Circle Guelph

We are very honoured to have had a Medice Wheel Garden

at Ignatius Community Garden

 

 

The Tobacco and Sweetgrass were planted by ILC members.

 

As part of our National Aboriginal Day celebrations we invited EVERYONE to come help  plant Sage and to drum and sing to help nourish the garden.

 

We had many of our regular  Circles,

including drumming,

at the garden

throughout the summer so we could all

help with the weeding and watering

and nurturing.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We were very fortunate to have this opportunity and to have so many wonderful people to help.
